Welcome to Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd

Manitoba government and health officials have announced that effective 12:01 a.m. February 12, places of worship will be allowed to have in-person Worship Services at 10% of capacity or 50 people, whichever is lower. For Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, the 10% capacity limit is 27 persons.

In-person Worship Services will begin Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. The Lord’s Supper will be offered on the usual second and fourth Sundays of the month to all confirmed members of LCGS.

Please contact the church at 204-222-0245 no later than 12:00 noon the Friday before Sunday Worship to register your attendance and the number attending (e.g. contact the church no later than 12:00 noon Friday Feb 12, 2021 to register for Sunday Feb 14 service).

· Contact information for each household/individual will be taken in case public health follow-up becomes necessary.

NOTE: If the registration numbers exceed our limit for that Sunday, we will ask that you attend the following Sunday.

Recognizing that not everyone will be comfortable with attending in-person Worship Service, a recorded Sunday Worship Service will continue to be uploaded and available on Sunday morning.

God has continued to grant us His presence among us, and He has faithfully led us to see that we cannot change what has already happened but that we can learn from it and move forward in the Spirit, trusting Him to lead us to do that which is pleasing in His sight. As we grow together in faith, hope and love, God will use us, His people, to be His voice that those in our community and throughout the world may come to know Jesus Christ in a very personal way as their only Lord and Saviour from sin, death and the power of the devil.
